The Leo Weekly Readers' Choice Awards announces what we've all known for some time: the Douglass Loop Farmers Market (a ministry of Douglass Boulevard Christian Church) is the best farmers market in Louisville.

DBCC Yard Sale Blowout!

Douglass Boulevard Christian Church is having a HUGE yard sale on July 13 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Yard Sale will feature furniture from around the church and from our members, but will also include household items.

NO EARLYBIRDS. Doors to the DBCC gym open at exactly 8 a.m., rain or shine. DBCC is located in the Highlands neighborhood at 2005 Douglass Boulevard, Louisville, KY 40205.

Come for the yard sale, stay for the food! Douglass Loop Farmers Market opens at 10 a.m. each Saturday, including July 13th, on the campus of Douglass Boulevard Christian Church.

The River Sirens at DLFM!

Everyone check out The River Sirens at the Douglass Loop Farmers Market on Oct. 13th!

Our own Stephanie Mattingly and Claire Mosley, along with the lovely Emily Smith of the River Sirens will be playing sweet, soothing bluegrass on the porch of Briney Hall (barring ground-breaking for renovation).

Seriously. Come on out.

DBCC/DLFM Holiday Bazaar

Douglass Boulevard Christian Church and the Douglass Loop Farmers Market will be hosting a Holiday Bazaar on December 3rd from 10am-4pm. For sale will be all locally handmade items from some of Kentucky's finest handcraft artists. Come do some Christmas shopping, admire the craftsmanship, and enjoy a bowl of chili from members of the DBCC family.* All of this will be located in the Robsion Family Life Center of Douglass Boulevard Christian Church. Bring your empty stomachs, Christmas wish list, and holiday spirits!

*Chili proceeds will go toward the mission trip fund for Casa Hogar de San Juan Children’s Home in San Luis Potosi, Mexico
